About Moniram

I am Moniram Ramcharitar, also known as Philip—the Founder of Bat Skills Cricket LLC and Inventor of Roundabout™.

​

Cricket has been a lifelong passion. From representing Berbice, Guyana, at Under-19 level and playing First Division cricket in the three-day format to studying the game’s techniques, history and traditions, those experiences have shaped the way I think about batting, practice and player development.

​

Alongside cricket, I have more than 35 years of experience in business, print production and project management, where turning ideas into practical solutions has been a constant part of my work.

That experience and passion eventually came together through Bat Skills Cricket and the development of Roundabout™, a cricket training unit created to make meaningful bat-and-ball practice more accessible and currently patent-pending in the United States and internationally.

Today, Bat Skills Cricket brings together cricket education, innovation and thoughtful articles and features exploring batting, player development, cricket history, great players, and the ideas and traditions that have shaped the game.

The purpose is simple: to help grow cricket through education, innovation and participation.
