Cricket offers so many benefits for kids—physical, social, and mental. Learning the basics early can help young players develop a strong foundation while having fun.

Simple Batting Exercises for Kids and Parents:


Batting for Beginners: Practice hitting the ball with a straight bat. This drill helps improve hand-eye coordination and teaches kids to focus on the ball. With these drills, children can start developing key skills, especially in batting, right at home or in a local park.

All ages: 5 -10 – 15 years old

Beginners level:

  • Correct Technique on how to play the forward/backward defense

  • How to leave a ball outside off-stump

Intermediate level:
